Behaviour, is it just a phase or is it a problem?

No photo description available.A free session for parents by The Changing Lives Initiative psychologist on attention, impulsive and hyperactive behaviour in children. Have people asked “Do they ever sit still?” or “Are they always so easily distracted?” Sometimes every child will struggle to pay attention, they can all be overexcited and impulsive at times. Most of the time these behaviours pass. However, sometimes behaving this way can cause problems for the child in their daily life. They can be a sign that there is more going on. The Changing Lives Initiative psychologist is giving a FREE talk to PARENTS on inattentiveness, impulsivity and hyperactivity in young children, and when to be concerned. This session will look at behaviours consistent with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), promote positive parenting, give tips and strategies to take home and present information on a new early intervention programme for behaviours consistent with ADHD.
