Dancers from beginners to World Championship prizewinners will take to the stage in the Barbican Centre on Saturday 25th April where the Lolo Robinson School of Irish Dancing will present “Dance by the Boyne” at 7.00 p.m.

The show will feature traditional and modern Irish music and dance and the dancers taking part will be from range in age from 4to 22.

They will perform a variety of dances including Reel around Ireland, Midwinter at Newgrange and Celtic Rythms.

The show will also feature Brú na Bóinne. This is a group comprised of dancers from the class who, together with musicians from Drogheda and Dundalk, represent Ireland at international festivals throughout Europe. Brú na Bóinne will travel to Poland in July to take part in the International Folk Meetings Małopolska where they hope to perform for the President of Poland.

“Dance by the Boyne” will showcase our Irish music, song and dance and is something that is suitable for all age groups. Tickets are available from the Robinson School of Irish Dancing 087-2491185 or at the Barbican Centre.
